GTA 5 i RDR 2 break records, and Rockstar boasts about it

Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 are breaking sales and popularity records. On this occasion, the Rockstar Games developers have prepared various bonuses for the players, which will be picked up in the multiplayer modes of the two games.

Rockstar Games have announced today several records broken by the games Grand Theft Auto V  and Red Dead Redemption 2. Celebrating the success of their craft, the developers know well who they owe it to; therefore, the multiplayer mode players of both games will receive various bonuses. In short – let’s check what achievements ‘unblocked’ the above titles recently and what attractions the authors have prepared for their fans.

Firstly, according to the data released by the NPD Group, Grand Theft Auto V has been the bestselling game of the decade on the American market. Meanwhile, the Red Dead Redemption 2 can take pride in being the bestselling product for the last four years. The total sales of the two games worldwide have exceeded the number of 150 million items sold. Considering that the company Take-Two Interactive gave information on 115 million sold GTA V copies in November, it can be concluded that over ⅔ of this result goes to this game.

Undoubtedly, what made the games successful was the well-thought-out promotional campaigns, as well as the long-term development of both titles. The productions have their content regularly enriched, which allows not only for retaining a considerable amount of fans but also attracting constantly new gamers. Moreover, for the December update of Diamond Casino Heist, December 2019 was the best month for GTA V in two years. Although Red Dead Redemption 2 fell behind in sales, the game “recorded its high increase”; thanks to the Bimbrownicy update in December, it gained its top popularity, which went even higher in January.

All these results in the game’s multiplayer modes, with the Rockstar Games logo currently reaching its peak popularity.

The developers have prepared gifts for players to be collected in both Grand Theft Auto Online and Red Dead Online. The first offers 2 million GTA$: to have a chance of getting it, you should play the game between 30 January and 5 February, as well as from 6 to 12 Feb. The Red Dead Online players can expect gifts like additional armor (The Gunslinger’s Cache; for collection from 28 Jan till 3 Feb), the license of Rewards Hunters and bonus ammunition (The Bounty Hunter’s Kit; for the group between 4 and 10 Feb).
